I’m off out here soon to play some Badminton with my son.
At less than £8 for court hire its a great way to spend an hour. A person of my size can expect to burn around 700 calories per hour. That’s pretty good in my book, I’m looking to join the leisure centre here and become a member at some point.
The aim is to get myself down to a trimmer weight, something in the region of 200lbs, so I have to lose around 25lbs which isn’t so bad, I guess I’ll just to need to cut down on the carbs and those late night bottles of Ruby Cabernet!
The plan is eventually to graduate to something a little more intense like Squash and see how that goes.
I do wonder whether at 39 I should be looking to up the ante but hey, George Foreman fought for a heavyweight boxing title in his 40’s ![]()
